 John Cleese joins Samantha Bee and Martin Short in Eliott The Littlest Reindeer
Jason Moring, President of DDI, has announced that Oscar nominated actor John Cleese joined Emmy nominee Samantha Bee (Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, The Daily Show) and award-winning actor Martin Short (Saturday Night Live, FRANKENWEENIE) and award-winning actor Martin Short (Saturday Night Live, FRANKENWEENIE) to the animated feature ELLIOT: THE LITTLEST REINDEER.
John Cleese is represented by Anonymous Content, CAA and Independent Talent Group. DDI is selling ELLIOT: THE LITTLEST REINDEER at the 2016 American Film Market, which is directed by Jennifer Westcott and produced by Dan Krech and Lucas Lynette-Krech under their Awesometown Entertainment banner with Victoria Westcott of Elgin Road.
ELLIOT: THE LITTLEST REINDEER is based on a multi-award winning screenplay, having been named best Canadian screenplay in all categories by Praxis and securing the Angel Award in Monaco for Best Children's Screenplay.
ELLIOT: THE LITTLEST REINDEER happens when, after Blitzen announces his retirement on December 21st, a miniature horse has three days to fulfill his lifelong dream of earning a spot on Santa's sleigh during the North Pole Try-Outs. ELLIOT: THE LITTLEST REINDEER is an animated underdog story for the ages.
