Introducing Green-Light International new international sales, distribution and financing company

 LA based feature film production company The Green-Light Group has launched Green-Light International, a new international sales, distribution and financing company, it was announced today by founders Jeff Elliott and Chad Moore.


Sales executive Christian de Gallegos has been appointed as President of Green-Light International, overseeing the sales and distribution strategy for films produced under the Green-Light Group banner as well as  titles produced independently by Elliott and Moore.   de Gallegos  will also source third party acquisitions along with Elliott and Moore to augment the company’s international sales slate.  Privately financed, Elliott and Moore will oversee the financing strategy for the new company.


Making their market debut at the upcoming American Film Market, the company is now active in the marketplace with a film slate that includes:

·       Thriller IMPERIUM based on true events starring Daniel Radcliffe as FBI agent Nate Foster, who goes undercover and joins a white supremacist group in order to expose a sizable terrorist plot to create a dirty bomb;

·       Drama/thriller CUSTODY currently in post-production from  writer/director James Lapine’s  (INTO THE WOODS) starring two-time Oscar nominee Viola Davis (THE HELP, PRISONERS), Oscar nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno (MARIA FULL OF GRACE), Hayden Panettiere (“Nashville”, “Heroes”), and Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn (INTERSETLLAR, THE AGE OF ADALINE);

·       Sci-fi/horror ANTIBIRTH starring Natasha Lyonne (“Orange is the New Black”, AMERICAN PIE 1&2), Chloë Sevigny (“American Horror Story”, “Bloodline”), Oscar nominee Meg Tilly (BODY SNATCHERS, AGNES OF GOD) and Mark Webber (LAGGIES, SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD) and is currently in post-production. 


Christian de Gallegos joins the company with thirteen years of entertainment industry experience, recently serving as President of International Film Trust (IFT), where he oversaw international sales for Werner Herzog’s SALT AND FIRE; BLEEDING HEART starring Jessica Alba and Zosia Mamet; YOU SHALL KNOW OUR VELOCITY starring Daniel Radcliffe and based on Dave Eggers' best-selling novel; CYMBELINE starring Ethan Hawke, Ed Harris, Milla Jovovich and Dakota Johnson; and action thriller CELL starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.


Prior to IFT, de Gallegos was Vice President of Sales and Distribution at Voltage Pictures and handled international distribution for over seventy titles including DALLAS BUYERS CLUB starring Matthew McConaughey; the Oscar winning THE HURT LOCKER; Robert Redford's THE COMPANY YOU KEEP; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's DON JON.

Jeff Elliott has produced and executive produced a number of feature films including PHENOM starring Ethan Hawke and Paul Giamatti currently in post-production, Dito Montiel’s MAN DOWN starring Shia LaBeouf and Jai Courtney, which recently premiered at the Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals; VINCENT-N-ROXXY starring Emile Hirsh and Zoë Kravitz and currently in post-production; and BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA starring Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto and Ryan Kwanten.  Elliott and Chad Moore are executive producers on IMPERIUM, CUSTODY and ANTIBIRTH as well as URGE starring Pierce Brosnan, which is currently in post-production.

Synopsis: Based on true events, IMPERIUM focuses on FBI agent, Nate Foster, as he goes undercover and joins a white supremacist group in order to expose a sizable terrorist plot to create a dirty bomb. The bright up-and-coming analyst must confront the challenge of sticking to a new identity while maintaining his real principles as he navigates the dangerous underworld of white supremacy. The script was co-written by former FBI agent Mike German whose counterterrorism activities during his 16 year tenure inspired the plot of the film.     



Currently in post-production, CUSTODY stars two-time Oscar nominee Viola Davis, Oscar nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno, Hayden Panettiere, and Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn.

Synopsis: A single mother (Moreno), goes head to head with the government when her children are wrongfully placed into protective custody. She crosses paths with an unstable judge (Davis) and with the help of a hungry young lawyer (Panettiere), she fights for her family, confronts past demons and goes above the law in the pursuit of justice.



In post-production, ANTIBIRTH is a science-fiction horror film starring Natasha Lyonne, Chloë Sevigny, Oscar nominee Meg Tilly and Mark Webber.
