Digital Film cloud network partners with BonditBondIt joins Digital Film Cloud Network’s Partner Ecosystem to both simplify and streamline film financing for filmmakers, producers, distributors, and sales agents.
Digital Film Cloud Network (DFCN), the global marketplace for film rights, announced today the release of its new Application service that enables users to easily locate and apply for financing and other services. This new DFCN service, which has been integrated with BondIt, the specialty entertainment financing company that provides financial solutions for Union bonds deposits (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, etc.), international sales advances, tax incentives and bridge financing, allows our users to apply for financing and securely share all of the required application documentation with a single click of a button.
“DFCN’s goal is to provide our users with the business support tools and connections that help them both make and sell their films, said Ray Bell CEO at DFCN. “We are excited to welcome BondIt into our DFCN Partner Ecosystem, and to enable our users to simplify their film financing activities.”
BondIt provides financing for features like Rob Zombie’s “31”, James Franco’s “King Cobra”, The Asylum’s “Sharknado 2”, Robert Duvall’s “Wild Horses” and SXSW award winner “The Invitation” and is expecting to provide $10,000,000 in financing for BondIt and DFCN Users over the next twelve to eighteen months. BondIt CEO Matthew Helderman said, “By integrating BondIt with the DFCN Film Rights Marketplace, filmmakers, producers, sales companies, and distributors can easily apply for our financing resources, and we can quickly perform the financing due diligence in a secure and streamlined manner entirely online; therefore, BondIt can offer a financing solution faster and easier than any one else”.
“BondIt solves many of the financial challenges that independent filmmakers face these days” said Alfredo Guilbert DFCN’s COO. “We aspire to empower filmmakers in all aspects of their film financing and sales, our ecosystem partnership with BondIt represents another important step towards that ambition”. 06.11.2015 | American Film Market Dailies's blog Cat. : D-Cinema
