Andrew Brown joined Parkland Pictures as Head of Sales.
There has been a significant investment into the Company that is leading to a major increase in activity in all areas of the business.
I will be working with my colleague, Mitch Clare, on the sales side.
Production will be a big focus too and this will be headed up by Parkland’s owner and experienced independent producer, John Cairns.
Parkland’s fledgling UK distribution company, Parkland Entertainment, run by industry veteran Tom Stewart, has a key focus on theatrical driven films and has enjoyed considerable success with releases to date. We will also be looking to ramp up this side of the business.
I’m proud and very enthused to be joining Parkland at this time of such major growth and over the next year or so we will be bolstering our slate with bigger, commercial projects as well as selling a selection of those projects that we will be producing ‘in house’.
Exciting times ahead with lots of new projects and films for you!
In the meantime and in advance of announcing some of these new projects at AFM, I am sending you a slate of great quality, finished films currently with Parkland for your consideration. Trailers and links to the films are available where indicated.
We look forward to being in touch soon regarding AFM but please also feel free to contact us for more information.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Three rough and tumble British lads, intent on making a grand and brutish statement on economic inequality in the UK, use one upper crust family as their sacrificial lamb. When disenfranchised Danny (Jack Roth) confronts wealthy banker, Conrad (Tim Bentinck), he plans to teach him a lesson he’ll never forget.
When daughter Philippa comes home with her supposed boyfriend, her parents are shocked to see he is from the “wrong” social class. They soon learn he is an imposter and thus begins this wild ride of a home invasion thriller. Tensions escalate as the intruders hold the family hostage and force the father to choose between wife and daughter in a game of Russian roulette. Danny’s seething anger is palpable and only countered by Conrad’s attitude toward privileged and entitlement. Briskly paced with wonderful acting, this well-crafted film is on the pulse of socio-political strife in the UK and reflects the current political unrest worldwide.
