American Documentary Film Festival

Named one of the world's Top 25 film festivals worth the entry fee by Movie Maker magazine in April 2013, and named one of the world's 5 coolest documen9tary film festivals by MovieMaker in November 2013, the American Documentary Film Festival's 11th annual event takes place  April 7-11, 2022. 

The Festival is located in the beautiful resort community of Palm Springs, California. Ideally located 2 hours east of Hollywood, this film mecca boasts a favorable viewing audience and a proven track record of supporting independent films. Already the largest documentary festival on the West Coast of the United States, we feature documentary features, doc shorts, and animated shorts from filmmakers around the world. Our main objective is to promote a world vision of film as seen through the eyes of the filmmaker.
