![]() ‘La isla mínima' y ‘Carmina y amén' best films at the Feroz Awards For the second time AICE celebrated its annual Gala where 10 Golden Feroz Awards were handed to the winners resulting from the votes of the members of AICE, the Asociación de Informadores Cinematográficos de España. La Isla Mínima got 5 awards out of 10 and get a clearer pace to the Goyas. Two more awards were given by AICE: Feroz Honor Award to a lifetime career to CARLOS SAURA and the Special Award to the film which may have deserved a better box office result to COSTA DA MORTE. The ceremony was preceded by a long red carpet at the famous plaza de toros de Las Ventas, where the most important Spanish cinema actors, actrecess, directors and producers walked along: Carlos Saura, Lois Patiño, Elena Anaya, Javier Cámara, Javier Fesser, Carmen Machi, Jesús Carroza, Eduard Fernández, Emilio Martínez-Lázaro, Carmen Ruiz, Raúl Arévalo, Nerea Barros, María León, Paco León, Carmina Barrios, Bárbara Lennie, Carlos Vermut, Macarena Gómez, Aura Garrido Eduardo Casanova, Javier Gutiérrez, Yolanda Ramos, Rossy de Palma, Carlos Areces, Quim Gutiérrez, Inma Cuesta, Leonor Watling, Aitor Luna, José Corbacho, Jorge Suquet, Antonio Velázquez, Natalia Tena, David Verdaguer, Ingrid García Jonsson, José Sacristán, Alexandra Jiménez, Marián Álvarez, Julio Medem... Barbara Santa-Cruz hosted the ceremony gratefully. The Feroz Awards gala was one of the funniest I´ve even been to. This makes clear that awards ceremonies can be different and funny and quick. Let´s face it, we all rather have one funny hour than 3 tedious ones to watch. Patrons like Gas Natural Fenosa, Canal + Spain, Cabildo de Gran Canaria made all this possible.
