The festival is held under the patronage of Amazonas State Governor Omar Aziz and State secretary of Culture, General Director Roberio Braga. President of honor is brazilian filmmaker Zelito Viana.

Patricia Martin (here pictured at The Amazonas Theatre) has been programming the festival for 3 years with her husband Alfredo Calvino (hefounded Latinofusion, a Guadalajara-based international film sales and distribution company) and a group of selectionners including Antonio Leal founder/director of Cine-Foot Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro. She also takes care of international media with a rare genrosity and kindness, making all guests of Amazonas Film Festival feel so priviledged. |
