Synopsis

After working 20 years as an electrician, Juan (Ramon Barea) is suddenly out of work and leaves his hometown in search of work elsewhere in Spain. He winds up in the streets of Madrid on unemployment. He sides with a resourceful, illegal Cuban immigrant and finds humor and dignity despite it all.

In the words of director Enrique Gabriel originally from Beunos-Aires, Argentina, "Today, anything can happen, and it could be for the worst for any of us. Even to a filmmaker. I'm afraid it could happen to me. Attacking one of the biggest neurosis of our system is suicidal. Yet this film is my small personal contribution."
