| On the occasion of the Grand FIPRESCI Prize awarded at San Sebastian 2000, we interviewed Klaus Eder, General Secretary of the critics organization. He explained the orgins of the name, its founding in the 20s, its members and its aims. Klaus was appointed to the position in 1986 and has furthered its international focus, especially to the poorer countries.
