San Sebastian International Film Festival Seb From Sept 16 - 25, Bertrand Tavernier, president of the jury, and the jury members had to select the winners from among the 18 films in the official competition, films from just about as many countries. It was Lawrence Kasdan's Mumford that opened the festival, while Onegin by Martha Fiennes closed San Sebastian 99 after having closed Toronto 99 as well. Also continent hopping from North America to Europe are A Map of the World by Scott Elliott, Mike Figgis' Miss Julie and Shower, all in the official competition. The International Jury composed of jury President Bertrand Tavernier (France) and members Laura Esquivel (Mexico), Anna Galiena (Italy), Marion Hänsel (Belgium), Gerardo Herrero (Spain), Dusan Makavejev (Yugoslavia) and Mark Shivas (Great Britain) granted the following awards at the 47th Donostia-San Sebastian event: Golden
