THE LATEST OFFSPRING: How many children does Swedish director Ingmar Bergman actually have?

"Eight that we know of," said Swedish director Eva Bergman, now following the steps of her father and brother (Daniel Bergman, who is currently completing his second feature, Svenska hjaeltar/Swedish Heroes).

Bergman has directed Sven - the seventh and 1997 segment of 90 Minutes of the 90s, a relay film initiated by the Goeteborg Film Festival, which grows every year by 10-minute installments from different filmmakers, contributing their thoughts about the last decade of the 20th century.

The International Film Festival Rotterdam has screened all previous parts and will present both Eva Bergman and Sven tomorrow (31 January). JRJ
