Finland’s tax rebate for film gets rolling at AFM - VIDEO

SCREENSHOT/GIGGLEBUG Gigglebug's commissioning broadcasters are YLE Finland and SRF Switzerland. Finland has announced the first three productions to make use of the country’s new tax incentive. As of the beginning of the year, Finland has offered a 25 per cent tax rebate for film and TV production.

 The productions are The Guardian Angel by Art Film Production, the Gigglebug animation series by Gigglebug Entertainment and The New Norway, a documentary by Saamifilmi. The incentive is administered by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.
