We set up a film festival, magazine, and community to give you a chance to be heard.
Our commitment: a rolling yearly schedule of film festivals in all 50 states of the USA, all 9 counties in the UK, and the 5 regions of Canada – plus online screening.

All filmmakers are welcome, whether black, white, brown, pink, gay, straight, non-binary, abled, differently abled, female, identifying as female, male, extraterrestrial or anything else.
Enter our LA festival.
We have a low barrier to entry: submissions are just $10 for everyone. We welcome filmmakers and screenwriters of all levels; whether you’re a seasoned director, a first-timer with a great idea, or even a YouTuber, we want to see your work!
All genres are welcome, from narrative drama & comedy to documentary, experimental film, genre, action, musical horror or thriller. We also want to read your TV pilot, short film or feature screenplay.
Join us at our festival events in LA from September 2017 & in London in Feb 2018. We will also screen films all year round with the help of our cinema and streaming partners.

Wayward Festival will be curating events throughout Los Angeles between September 2017 & January, 2018, we will host our London event in February 2018. Our full event schedule and list of partners will be emailed to all entrants in August and made live on our site.
