The 18th annual Savannah Film Festival, presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), ended on Sunday. The festival celebrated 8 days of cinematic creativity in film. Highlights included: Actress Elizabeth Olsen and director Marc Abraham attended the screening of "I Saw the Light" and met with SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace. The festival announced its award winners at a brunch held at the Olde Pink House. The festival also screened “He Named Me Malala,” “Mia Madre,” “45 Years,” “The Lady in the Van” and Best Narrative Feature Award-winner “Tumbledown.”

WHAT: The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presents the 2015 Savannah Film Festival, which celebrates cinematic creativity from award-winning professionals and emerging filmmakers. The 18th annual festival, held in downtown Savannah, Georgia, runs from Saturday, Oct. 24, to Saturday, Oct. 31.
