Whether you are taking a pleasant stroll down La Croisette or just driving by, you may notice a couple of large screens and a white and blue display. This is the Horyou Village of the Cannes Film Festival, located right in front of the Grand Hotel. The purpose of the Horyou Village is to bring “the values of social good to the forefront of the world’s premiere cinematic gathering.”
Throughout the duration of the film festival, Horyou will be hosting events and having interviews as well as displaying films and hosting a couple of concerts. In fact, Animation Day in Cannes took place in the Horyou Village.
The Horyou Village is an interesting space and a unique aspect of the film festival and definitely worth a visit!
