Malibu Robert Downey Jr., who can be seen in Richard III in Prague on Saturday, was arrested in Malibu on suspicion of possessing narcotics and a concealed gun and freed Monday on US$10,000 bail.

The LA County Sheriff's department said Downey was stopped for driving at 70mph in a 50-mph zone of the Pacific Coast highway. Believing the actor to be under the influence of a "controlled substance," officers searched Downey's pick-up and allegedly found an unloaded revolver, black tar heroin, powder cocaine and crack.
