Los Angeles The 20th Anniversary of Women In Film Crystal Awards, which recognise the achievements of women in the entertainment industry, were presented at a luncheon yesterday at the Century Plaza Hotel.

This year's chosen recipients were Jodie Foster, Angelica Huston, Angela Basset and marketing partners Buffy Shutt and Kathy Jones.

Jane Alexander, chairwoman of the National Endowment of the Arts, was presented with the Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award for her "unflagging dedication to the arts and education reform", while Audrey Hepburn was awarded a posthumous Crystal for her contribution to Hollywood and to the world-at-large through her involvement in Unicef.

Lifetime Television will cover this year's Crystal Awards with an hour-long special which is set to air in the US on 18 August.
