We want your comedy shorts – and no, we’re not talking
about the embarrassing pair of cartoon boxer shorts your mum bought
you for Christmas. We are calling for submissions for the inaugural
Eat My Shorts comedy film competition, which is being held as
part of the International Comedy Film Festival.

Moving Pictures Film Contest is a unique competition that provides
independent filmmakers the possibility to have their work distributed
around the world and attend various film markets for networking.

WORLD DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL February 5 - 8, 2009
Join us for the 2nd Africa World Documentary Film Festival in
February 2009 in Saint Louis USA, in Europe, and the Caribbean.
At our 2007 inaugural festival in Saint Louis USA and Lagos, Nigeria,
over $5,000 in prizes was awarded. The festival and film makers
presenting were highlighted on CNN’s Inside Africa.
At the 2nd AWDFF in 2009, we are awarding more prizes to Film
makers, along with viewing of your work on three continents under
the banner of one festival. Look out for more and join us at the

The Festival’s main category is the International Official
Competitive Section for 35mm features and will offer an outlook
of present world cinema and explore new trends in the art of film.Official
Competitive Section for fiction features will compete for the
“Silver Caravel” Award.
