SPRINGS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL - August
21-27, 2008
The 14th annual edition of the event will present more
than 300 new short films from 40 countries, with 300 young filmmakers
attending the event in the week-long celebration of the short
film art form, which encompasses special events and showcases,
and a program of seminars, master classes and panel discussions
featuring industry professionals and experts in the short film
field. 20 cash awards will be presented in eight competitive categories
- over $70,000 in cash, film stock and production services will
be awarded!
INDEPENDENT
FEATURES FILM FESTIVAL July 25 - 27, 2008
The Independent Features Film Festival is the world's first film
festival in which films will be chosen by a global audience via
a web-based competition. The competition will run May 1st, 2008
through June 30th, 2008. The top twenty-one films will go on to
be screened at the Independent Features Film Festival which will
be hosted July 25-27, 2008 at the acclaimed Tribeca Cinemas in
Lower Manhattan.
