Moondance International Film Festival - Boulder

Moondance aims at promoting and encouraging women screenwriters and women who make independent films, in any genre, including feature films, animation, documentaries and short films.
An extensive line-up of workshops are to delve into everything from Script to Screen, how to Pitch your Story, or Film Production in Hollywood.
The international slate of film screenings include the feature film The Other Side of Sunday (Norway) by Berit Nesheim, an Academy Award nominee for best foreign film and the documentary The Other Angels (USA) by Pat Walsh about military nurses in Vietnam, their triumphs, traumatic memories, and reunion thirty years later. On the short film agenda, seven films from Scandinavia including Man by Eva Dahr presenting a day in the life of a Norwegian male, as seen from a woman's point of view. Another short, The Oz Witch Project (USA) by Michael Rotman is an irreverent spoof of the Wizard of Oz & The Blair Witch Project. Many animations are being presented as well, such as The Bride & The Broom (USA) by Mabebe Delgado - a ghetto housewife dances into a fantastical dream world and back again.
