FILMSTOCK
International Film Festival
|
|
 |
|
The
focus for Filmstock 2000 was Luton's Modern Arts and Media
Centre, Artezium.
Many of the comedy double bills were screened there. Artezium
was also the venue for the Vintage Night, Ray Harryhausen
talk and the Closing Gala amongst other events.
Another key venue was Cineworld Luton, situated in the new
Central Galaxy Entertainment Complex. Cineworld was the generous
host for the War Child charity screenings, as well as a Chick
Flicks day, the Chiltern FM listeners screening
and other comedy showings. The University of Luton was the
venue for an afternoon of special discussion forums given
by filmmakers Lee Chambers and Indra Bhose. Lastly, entertainment
was laid on at the Galaxy Centre's Brannigans, hosts for the
Filmstock 2000 launch party.
