In October, we move to the heart of Belgium's Flemish region where we are invited to attend the Flanders International Film Festival in Ghent. Besides being just one click from the entire festival catalogue, our daily coverage will include press reviews, festival news and interviews.

Throughout the years, Ghent has become the country's prime film event. The festival organises an official competition with the impact of music on film as its subject. New this year is a competition for Belgian shorts. Other sections include a Panorama, BFI Classics and Tributes.
