The international film festival Bratislava, Slovakia is the biggest film festival in Slovakia, annually held in november. The festival started in 1999 and in 2011 the 13th edition is under preparation. The IFF Bratislava offers 3 major competitions: First and second features, documentaries and shorts. Outside of the competition there is more than 7 other sections covering the best from the biggest film festivals, Cutting edge, Profile or genre sections. In average the festival program brings about 200 films, with the circulation about 25 000 viewers.
