Lucie Amyot's blogResponsible for Film acquisitions and programming for TFO (Educational & Cultural Television) I am the film programmer also responsible for acquisitions. TFO is a French language educational and cultural televison network in Toronto Canada. We program a film every evening at 9pm and a Friday Matinee. The program is closer to a CINE CLUB or CINEMATHEQUE than the usual TV fare. All films are presented in original version with French sub-titles. Retrospectives, Cycles or Hommage to directors are a regular part of the programming. From the silent films of Ozu to the latest film by Rivette or Wajda will be in our Fall and Winter season.
