Imagine: Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival is an annual festival with the purpose of showing and introducing the 'fantastic film' to a broad audience. This year there will be ten days of fantasy, anime, thriller, cult, horror and sci-fi! The Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival was founded in 1984. Since 2009, the festival has a new name: Imagine: Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival. Over the years, the festival developed into a 10 days long festival, celebrating the fantastic genres in its filmprogramming, and adding masterclasses, symposia and theme programs along the way.
