More than 1200 years ago, the pilgrims from all over the World started to come to Galicia in search of a common objective. In ANIMACAM we want to pay tribute to this way of multiculturalism. ANIMACAM (I International Festival of Animation On Line) is launched with the intention of being a connection between the artists from different countries revolving around the Way of Saint James. Eleven prizes, valuated at 22000 euros, will award the animated creativity using any kind of technique or format. In this second phase, the cybernauts will choose the winners through their votes. In addition to the official categories, there are other five special prizes for the best pieces representing the values promoted by the festival. Finally, two animators will have the opportunity of doing the Way of Saint James and express their experiences in an animated short movie thanks to our two special grants.
