Tamer Ashry is an Egyptian filmmaker. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communication in 2006. He has been working in the field since 2003 as a Producer, Scriptwriter, Cameraman, and Director on a number short fiction films, documentary films, TV programs, and TV Ads. Among Tamer's works are two short films 'Check Mate' (2006) and 'The Accident' (2007). As well as documentaries including '28th of January' (2008), 'Egypt2008' (2008), 'The 7th War' (2009), 'Story of an Egg' (2009) and 'Pictures from Gaza' (2011).
