Dans le cadre de son département de production, FILMO soutient la production de films courts de jeunes réalisateurs.

FILMO tient à poursuivre le développement de sa politique de jeunes auteurs entrepris en 2009.


FILMO au sein de son département patrimoine a pour mission d'effectuer le conseil aux restaurations de films de catalogue.

Complémentaire à un service technique ou en remplacement d’un service technique, FILMO intervient sur des films délicats où une "masterisation" va permettre de procéder à un inventaire et une conservation du film.

De la restauration photochimique (réparation et tirage de sécurité des safety et nitrate), en passant par la restauration numérique (2K ou HD), la validation des restaurations est effectuée par FILMO, chez les prestataires déterminés pour chacune des étapes.

Jusqu'à présent c’est plus de 60 films qui ont été totalement restaurés, allant des années 30 aux années 80, dont les titres suivants :

About the Director: 

Didier Blasco majored in Fine Arts in 1992 at the French National Contemporary Art Centre of Nice. Between 1989 and 1992 he directed a series of experimental films at the Centre. In 1996 he graduated at La Femis (National School of Image and Sound) in Paris. He composes electronic music, and was one of the founding members of the band Les Dupont in 1994, having realised several albums. He has directed ten shorts, most of which were shown in French and foreign TV channels as France 2, Canal +, TPS, Rai 3 (Italy), Série + Québec, among others. He is now working on his first full length movie : Autumn Boy, inspired from a novel by André Gide.

About the Producer: 
He is a producer of documentaries, short and feature films and for two years has worked at his own company FILMO. He began his career in France where he worked for ten years as a distributor of feature films for such companies as Pyramide, Pan-européenne, Polygram and Universal Pictures. In addition, Olivier is a commercial post-production director for cinema and audiovisuals. Currently at FILMO there are 6 short films in pre-production. Olivier is a member of the pre-selection committee for French and international short films at the Cannes Film Festival, an active member of the Higher Technical Committee of the CNC and also a member of the César Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Film synopsis: 
Kamal, wearing jeans, a black leather jacket and a four days' beard, is peacefully walking in the street to send his baby to sleep. After a police check, he ends up accused of having stolen, his own child. An ordinary evening in France: suspicion and denial of justice, life under lock and key, behind the video surveillance camera.
