Gijon International Film Festival for Young People

In its 37th year, this festival held in Gijon, Spain aims at presenting the newest tendencies of young cinema worldwide and includes an official competition of 12 features and 12 shorts. An additional selection of the anti-Hollywood filmmaking will focus on the works of Jonas Mekas, Robert Kramer and Kenneth Anger. Completing the program is a conference on Imitating Passions: Desire and Hate in Cinema, an exhibition of photographs and collages by Christopher Doyle, as well as a concert by the Pretenders.
