Eyes Wide Shut will open the 56th edition of La Mostra Internationale
d'Art Cinématographique in Venice to be held from September 1 - 11,
1999. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, married couple in the film and
in real life, will be joined by the late Kubrick's wife Christiane
for the opening ceremony. While the digitally censored USA version
has already disappeared from the top ten at the box office, European
moviegoers will be able to plunge into the total Kubrick experience
with the
uncut version coming soon to their screens. |
