Inspired
by the rural lifestyle and rough dialect of
the people of Bari, Alessandro Piva has created
a film noir which takes place in the dark labyrinth
of the local underworld.
Many different stories weave around a
central thread: the odyssey of a precious package
of cocaine, which never reaches its destination.
The
result is a kaleidoscopic insight into the network
of small-time crooks cruising the city by day
and by night. In an article published in Il
Manifesto, the film critic Fabrizio Versienti
describes the film as "a black comedy which
expertly balances several expressive layers
at once".
