The purpose of the Show Me Social Justice International Film Festival is to raise awareness of Social Justice Issues. Using a variety of artistic media, our goal is to impact our communities, both locally and globally, in order to inspire personal responsibility and positive action. The Festival will include a plethora of activities to entertain attendees: Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries and Missouri Student Films The Red Carpet Premiere Event featuring a special screening, food, music and special guests Nibbles and Flicks offering a local Wine and Food Tasting Event Missouri Artisans Showcase The Back Lot Vendor Expo to promote area businesses, communities and organizations That’s a Wrap! Sponsor/Donor Event, an invitation-only party for those that supported the Festival The Reel Thing Awards Ceremony A special presentation by Peter Loth, author and concentration camp survivor, and US Rep. Ike Skelton who Peter credits as one who made a real difference in his life. Workshops, panel discussions, opportunities to talk to filmmakers … and many other local events.
