MY HERO International Short Film Festival's blog

The MY HERO Project has extended the deadline for the MY HERO International Short Film Festival. Since 2005, the festival has been celebrating the best of humanity on film. If you have a film that celebrates a hero or an act of heroism, MY HERO invites you to share your story with a global audience. The festival welcomes films of all genres, including documentary, narrative and experimental films. Winners will be eligible for cash prizes of up to $2,000. The Ron Kovic Peace Award, which will go to the short film that best addresses the theme of "peace and the Dan Eldon Activist Award, which will be awarded to the short film that best represents “activism.” The deadline for submissions is now October 1, 2011.
