The Milford Public Library [CT] and the Milford Fine Arts Council are sponsoring an independent film festival. CASH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. There are two divisions under 18 and over 18. The deadline for receiving entries is July 10th, 2009, all entries must be postmarked by this date. The winning films will be presented August 1st and there will be an awards ceremony August 13th. Filmmakers can submit up to two entries. There is a $15.00 entry fee for the first submission and a $10.00 fee for the second. The cash prizes are in the under 18 division are 1st place $100.00, second place $75.00, and 3rd place $50.00. In the over 18 division the prizes are 1st place $150.00, second place $100.00, and 3rd place $50.00.
