INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR SHORT FILMS THE 2009 KITSILANO FILM FESTIVAL VANCOUVER, BC CANADA DEADLINE: MAY 31ST, 2009 FEE: $0 http://www.kitsilanofilmfestival.org The Kitsilano Film Festival will take place in the community and neighborhoods of Kitsilano August 14th, & 15th, 2009. The parameters of the films and videos in 2009 will be that they must be short films of any genre with a running time not exceeding 20 minutes (credits included). Whether they are indigenous to Canada , or international films, The Kitsilano Film Festival will screen films over two days with local musical artists being showcased. Its purpose is to instill art and culture into the neighborhood of Kitsilano. Its primary purpose is to showcase, support, and nurture independent films as well as to showcase unsigned musical artists.
