Dr. Goldstein, an American armed with a M16 rifle and a backpack equipped with bullets entered the grotto ancients (Machpelah) in Hebron, where he opened chicken and dumplings fire on Palestinians. The surviving Palestinian terrorist lynched, when the magazine changed again. As a result of the riots after the attack killed 26 Palestinians and further two Israelis. Goldstein's Tomb, built by settlers from Hebron, was located at the entrance to Kiryat Arba Jewish settlement in Hebron. He was on the inscription, stating that Goldstein was a saint who died as a martyr. It was a place of pilgrimage for religious extremists and nationalists in Israel. This tomb was the force of law by the Israeli authorities closed down in 1999. At the funeral of Baruch Goldstein, Rabbi Yaacov Perrin said that "one million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail", Shmuel HaCohen, a teacher at a college in Jerusalem, said: "Baruch Goldstein was the greatest living Jew." Baruch Goldstein was a devotee of Jigal Amir, the religious far-right activist, who on 4 November 1995, murdered Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, an advocate of peaceful negotiations with the Palestinians. Goldstein left a wife and four children. His act was condemned by the Israeli Government and the vast majority of society as an immoral act of terrorism [citation needed]. dzejzi112 |
