AWKA LIWEN – REBELLION AT DAWN

Synopsis

Awka Liwen is story about the eternal fight for the lands in Argentina,since the murder of the natives. Under the cover that „the civilized population“had to be protected before „the barbarism“, they were murdered and robbed oftheir countries. These outrages were never officially criticized or debated anduntil today it is denied that the ancestors of the Argentine founder fathersdid not carry European blood in their veins.

From the campaigns however primarily profited a small, rich, minority.They divided the lands under themselves and increased their wealth with theyields of a large-scale agriculture. The same sectors, which killed, enslavedor sold the natives, tried a coup d’état in the year 2008 against the Argentinegovernment. Again, they wanted to defend their privileges: Small productioncosts in the country and duty-free production facilities from abroad. They stayunited for a primary-goods export economy, as at the times of the BritishEmpire. Primary goods from Argentina for machines from the United Kingdom. Onlyin this way they attain a maximum profit. And whenever they see their interestsin danger, they resist with all means, even by military dictatorships. And in thisway it happens that malnutrition and poverty in a country, which exportsagricultural products belongs to the everyday life.

But the great land owners are not alone in Argentina. The borders ofrobbery animal capitalism continue to spread always greedily. They penetratealso into the areas, at which they had no interest before, as for example theenormous farm of Benetton in Leleque in the Patagonia. 500 years after thenatives were chased from their ancestral lands, their descendants are againhunted-away in masses and still exploited, as if they are citizens of secondclass.
