CosmoFest Tokyo 2012 will release its final details its International Film Festival in Tokyo in November. The festival will focus on the creation of young filmmakers and will include both a symposium and workshops. For this years festival it will award a prize for films made using new technologies. The festival will take place at Meiji University and other venues in Central Tokyo.

The International Student Film Festival Hollywood (ISFFH) is celebrating 10 years! The ISFFH is now accepting submissions for its annual Film and Video Competition. The Festival will be held in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, CA USA November 17 - 18, 2012. The competition is open to students of all ages and academic backgrounds. Hello fans, members, and those addicted to ÉCU! Don’t worry,

As you know, ÉCU organized a special screening at Café Coutume in
Paris and it was successful. ÉCU screened two films that won awards at
the 2011 festival – Paths of Hate and Salam Rugby. Guests really

The FilmShift Festival presents films from across the nation, that are produced independently and on the local level. We have some extremely valuable prizes for both filmmakers and screenwriters and a portion of the festival's ticket sales are being donated to charity.

Both professional and Student filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work to compete for a variety of prizes and awards. We welcome films of all genres and styles that tell strong and original stories. We also accept feature-length and short film scripts for our FilmShift Screenplay Competition.
Twenty percent of our gross ticket sales will be donated evenly to 2 local non-profit groups: Christopher's Haven (a juvenile cancer support foundation,) and MetroWest Family Theater (a community theater group.)

NFFTY is the largest and most influential film festival for young filmmakers (age 22 and under). NFFTY occurs each spring in Seattle, Washington and includes 100+ film screenings, filmmaking panels, concerts by youth bands, and opportunities for young filmmakers to network with industry professionals and each other. The third edition of ONE Country ONE Film, Apchat International Film Festival will take place from the 27th to the 29th of july 2012 in the small village of Apchat in the heart of France. We are now accepting film submissions (open to shorts and features, fictions, documentaries, experimental and animations) until March 31st 2012. Entry is free. Diversity regarding the origin of films is the number one criteria for selection. No more than one film is selected per country represented. CRASHFEST is an International Festival of Students’ Short Films and is organised for the Film Department, School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Students in a public or private school in Greece and abroad can participate in it.
