Banff World Television Festival

The Banff World Television Festival is the world's most important television content creation event and 2009 will mark the 30th anniversary of this annual forum of business and creative opportunities for those in television and new media.

Cape Fear Independent Film Festival

The 9th annual festival will be held from May 1-3 for three days of short films, socializing and great prizes. There will be a $1000 grand prize for best short, as well as individual category prizes.

Short films of any genre are accepted and must be 41 minutes in length or less. Submissions must be made on NTSC DVD or VHS. Submission deadlines are as follows:

Accommodations will be provided to screening filmmakers on a first-come-first-served basis!
