Based in Ryde, Isle of Wight, on the south coast of England. This is
the first International Film Festival to be held on the Island. With
its fantastic golden sands and town on the beach. We aim to become one
of the UK’s and internationally sought after film festivals.
So, we are open to anyone out there, who has made a film, thought of
making a film, or is in the process of making a film. To send your
entries to us use the withoutabox link or post them to us directly.
Films can be up to five years old and with over 20 categories to
choose from, there is no excuse for anyone to say they can’t have a go.
If it’s in your wardrobe or under your bed, dust it down and send it
off to us and we will show it on one of our big screens on the beach,
or at the traditional Commodore Theatre in the centre of town.
Looking forward to seeing you and your films on the beach in April 2011 – don’t forget your swimming costume only for the brave!!!!!
Mission Statement
The aim of the Ryde Isle of Wight International Film Festival is to
encourage creativity in all aspects of film production, not dependant
on financial and physical restrictions, gender, geographical location,
