Officially recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, some of these films may go on to receive Oscar nominations. We are the only festival with 7 awards recognized by the Academy. In the past, 44 films have received Oscar nominations with 13 winning the coveted Oscar statue.
