AmberOceaie's blogMid North Coast Premier Short Film Festival- The Janison Short Sharp Film Festival Call For Entries - Entries Close May 15, 2009 The Janison Short Sharp Film Festival is in its third year. The Festival is an annual event to showcase the work of film-makers and aspiring film-makers. Whats New? *This year the event will be held at The Jetty Theatre in Coffs Harbour- new venue but the same great entertainment for all ages *There are now 2 sections for entry in the Secondary Highschool age bracket: Junior High (Year 7 to 10) Senior High (Years 11 & 12) * Cash prizes for all section winners- $2,000 first prize for OPEN, $500 first prizes for Senior High School, Junior High and Primary School. * Films from 2008 Year 12 students are eligible * Signature Item- Colander (Visual or Verbal- your film MUST contain the signature item) *Submission Deadline- 5pm, 15th May 2009 - for all entries * Screening Date- Saturday 11th July 2009 - for finalists in all categories.
