Charlotte Film Festival's blogThe mission of the Charlotte Film festival is to provide our community with an extraordinary cultural experience, while bringing exposure to the cause, innovation, and uniqueness of vision of the filmmakers whose films we showcase. Through the 15 awards that we hand out, we are committed to highlighting independent movie makers everywhere whom, despite their challenges and restrictions, are able to produce movies rich with stories that not only entertain but also touch us on a deeply human level. Our 6th annual event will take place March 5 - 27, 2012. Our submission deadlines are as follows:
Early bird Deadline – May 31, 2011 The competitive event is open to films and videos with production dates after June 2009 of all genres, subject matter, and lengths. The Festival screens entries in the following categories:
