BendFilm, a film festival to watch in Bend, Oregon is looking for submissions.

BendFilm takes place in Bend, Oregon, located on the dry side of the Cascade muntains, on October 11th to October 14, 2012. Spend some extra time here exploring the breathtaking volcanic landscape or maybe just enjoying a local microbrews--Bend has some of the best microbreweries in the nation. The festival will provide housing for filmmakers, tour guides, and whatever is needed!

Filmmakers can submit their films via withoutabox.com in the genres of narrative feature, documentary feature, short film, conservation, student film, or animated film.

Cash is awarded in 12 categories and for the Audience Award. 6,000 people attended the festival in 2011. Notable films featured in recent BendFilm Festivals include Oscar winner "Born into Brothels" (2004), Spirit award winners "Littlerock" (2010) and "Where Soldiers Come From" (2011), and Spirit award nominee "New Year's Parade" (2008). Also screened at Bend Film Festival were the much-loved "Outsourced" (2007), which became the TV series and "Rid of Me" (2011), which will air on Showtime soon.

to hike, fish, or just hang out in the mountains, check out the BendFilm festival.  BendFilm takes place in Bend, Oregon on October 11th to October 14, 2012.   Bend, Oregon is at the foot of the beautiful Cascade mountain range--on
the dry side.  Filmmakers can plan to spend some extra
time here exploring the breathtaking volcanic landscape or maybe just enjoying
