Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival YFIFF's blog

Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival (YFIFF) is the gateway for new, independent and undiscovered filmmakers which takes place each year in Belfast, Northern Ireland. http://theyfiff.webs.com/

Designed and organised by award winning film maker George Clarke, the YFIFF is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland and has the dedication and drive to grow larger and larger every year!

The first 3 years have grown with guests coming in from Hong Kong, Mexico, LA, Canada, Italy, the UK and Ireland, with great results! Now the YFIFF has settled in the oldest cinema in Northern Ireland, and is fast becoming one of the top events in NI for film fans...

Yellow Fever Productions began in late 2007 with our very first project and feature film, the award winning Battle Of The Bone. Since then, we have created over 100 projects independently including 3 acclaimed feature films, a 30 episode online music show, a number of short films, with the aim to push and develop new talent in front of, and behind the camera. Submission Call for the 4th Annual YFIFF

First off, apologies for the delay on updates via Fest21... Its been a busy few years and running a festival as a one-man-army is no easy task! Now though, heading into our 4th year, I'm happy to announce that we are bigger and better with more to offer at the fantastic underground festival - the Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival.

Kicking off in Sept from the 7th - 9th, our 4th year see's us settle in the beautiful Strand Cinema of East Belfast. Northern Irelands oldest cinema and home of the Yellow Fever Production offices.

Our last 3 years has seen guests come in from Hong Kong, Mexico, the US, Canada, Italy, Spain, the UK and Ireland - we have given out 30 awards, and gained international media coverage.

We are currently open for submissions and hope that once again, we find teh best that indie cinema has to offer for our latest event!

For more information, and news on past festivals, please check out - http://theyfiff.webs.com/

Many thanks,

George Clarke
