A WARRIOR'S HEART to open on December 02, 2011!

Production company California Pictures' first theatrical release, A WARRIOR’S HEART (2011), makes a warrior-like entrance into cinemas on Friday December 02, 2011. While American audiences have seen umpteen sports films about baseball and football, this will be the first film about Lacrosse, giving insight to a lesser known but age-old North American sport, which originated with the Native Americans and continues to be played today in various parts of the nation. When the loose canon young man Conor Sullivan (played by Kellan Lutz) finds out about his father’s war-related death, he falls apart at the seems and begins to self-destruct. He is saved by the ancient sport of Lacrosse, which brings new meaning into his life. Conor finds a new balance with himself and falls in love with Brooklyn (played by Ashley Greene).

World sales agents Camelot Entertainment Group and US domestic distributor Xenon Pictures couldn’t have picked a better release date for A WARRIOR'S HEART, set to open one week after TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN’s opening on Friday, November 25th, Thanksgiving weekend. Starring two TWILIGHT SAGA actors (Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz), A WARRIOR'S HEART promises to deliver a perfect balance for TWILIGHT SAGA fans who have had their fill of vampire-lore and seek a respite from the 'saga' saturation. A WARRIOR'S HEART will open to international audiences in 2012.
