The RUBY MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL (RMFF) presents a full range of independent and student films from across the globe against the backdrop of the ruggedly beautiful Ruby Mountains in Northeastern Nevada. This four-day event promises to uncover cinematic treasures in both short and feature categories.

 

We currently have over 170 films submitted from the following countries:

 

"Brazil, Canada, Finland, Venezuela, The UK, Spain, Netherlands, Mexico, Australia, Serbia/Montenegro, South Korea, New Zealand, Armenia, Turkey, Croatia, Sweden, Taiwan, Israel, Argentina, France, Russian Federation, Iran, Japan, India, Iraq, Poland, and Bangladesh.

There are numerous opportunities for filmmaker recognition at RMFF with Jury and Audience Awards across multiple categories, as well as the Ruby Award for career achievement in the Western genre, inclusive of films of all budgets, from indies to Hollywood fare. The festival also plans to nurture and present the work of filmmakers from kindergarten through college, offering a variety of student sections and prizes.
