Advertising Awards - The first advertising awards event of its kind in
Hollywood, the entertainment capital, to focus on the intersection
between advertising and entertainment in today’s multi-platform world.
Advertising Awards accepts entries from around the world in Film/TV, Billboard, Design, Direct Mail, Digital/Interactive, Non-Traditional, Integrated Campaign, Posters, Print, Radio, and Craft Technique. Award winners will be announced March 14, 2012 from Hollywood. Judging will be done by a diverse group of worldwide industry experts from the advertising industries. NXT STAGE strive to be a truly global awards by recognizing work from foreign countries by taking into account each cultures unique communication. Additional categories can be entered base on country or region. If entry is submitted in a related category base on country or region, judges will also factor in culture and communication. So depending on which categories were entered a trophy could be awarded in a category representing the best from that region of the world.
If any category entries do not meet the standard deemed award
worthy by the judges, it’s possible that there will be no awards given
in that category. Equally, if in any category an entry meets the silver
standard but not the gold standard, it is possible that there will only
be a silver award given in a category.
 New Directors Showcase
Competition is open to directors of all formats and styles, who have directed professionally for less than 3 years. Work submitted must have been made after January 2011. Work submitted must not exceed 5 minutes. Longer work such as films, must be edited under 5 minutes. A shortlist is compiled from entries by our screening committee. Finalists will be selected by an international jury. All entries will be showcased during the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival (LA Shorts Fest) September 11, 2012.
