South African HORRORFEST Film Festival

Since 2005, the South African HORRORFEST is the most prominent (if not the only) all-encompassing Halloween event on the African continent, including movies, literature, music and more.

CELLUDROID Sci-Fi / Anime / Fantasy Film Festival

CELLUDROID is the only South African film festival focussing on Sci-Fi, Anime and Fantasy films, with indie, new and old classics, from short films to feature films. 

A comic book chapter has also been incorporated.

For the 2011 event director Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) will attend the with some of his classic movies, and introduce his new book, Shadow Of The Grail.

SOUND ON SCREEN is the first film festival in South Africa with its focus aimed at music on screen.

Music video by South African Industrial-Metal band has vocalist Sonja systematically turning into a vampire. Intercut with shots form the classic Nosferatu.

Music video for the song "Virus" by South African Industrial-Metal band Terminatryx. Performance footage inter-cut with the narrative of a woman finding an unmarked envelope on her doorstep containing an old Betamax tape. She digs an old player from her cupboard and views it. A full moon appears on screen - and things get hairy(!)
