Created in February 2003,
Restart – the Creativity, Art and New Technologies Institute, started working
in the beginning of June, organizing several summer workshops that were a great
success. Some months later, in October, 250 students began the long courses.
During the year 2003-2004, besides all the activities in the professional
training, we organized an intense cultural entertainment. We made several
shorts that were on competition in International Film festivals.

After that, we strived to
increase our activity, organizing workshops on weekends and making partnerships
with major Portuguese events.

In 2009 we moved to a
different location. A bigger space with better resources to provide all of our
students with the best education, and also preparing them for the market.
